Reverse description A winged genius, depicted nude and seated upon a large stone plinth symbolising the foundations of the Academy, raises a laurel wreath in the right hand. A tripod stands on each side of the central figure. The legend PRISEN VUNDEN arcs across the upper field, with the date DEN XXXI MARTII inscribed in the lower exergue, the blank space between reserved for the recipient's name.
