Reverse description Central square field containing a radiant sun motif (the defining feature of this 'Sun Rouble' type), around which are arranged four Cyrillic letters П forming a cross pattern, with the letter I appearing at each corner between the arms of the cross. Imperial crowns are placed at the cardinal points flanking the cross arms. The denomination and date are inscribed in the surrounding legend, divided on either side of the central design. The overall composition is geometrically structured, with the sunburst centre lending the type its popular numismatic name.
