Reverse description Central field features the imperial double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, surmounted by a single crown above both heads, rendered in bold relief and framed by an elaborate decorative border of scrolling foliate and arabesque ornaments filling the inner field on all sides. A dotted inner circle separates the eagle and its decorative surround from the peripheral Cyrillic legend. The legend МОСКОВСКIЙ РУБЛЬ ЦЕНА ЕФИМКА 1654 appears around the border, identifying the denomination as the Moscow Rouble valued at one efimok and bearing the date 1654. The reverse design as a whole reflects the Muscovite artistic vocabulary of the period, combining heraldic gravitas with ornamental richness characteristic of this celebrated and exceedingly rare coin type.
