| Obverse description | Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed at centre, each head surmounted by a crown and both heads surmounted by a larger imperial crown, the breast bearing an escutcheon charged with St. George slaying the dragon, the wings decorated with the shields of the Russian territories. The mintmaster initials ФБ appear in the lower field beneath the eagle. A circular Cyrillic legend denoting the silver fineness and weight runs along the periphery within a beaded border. |
