The truncation bears the engraver's signature А. ЛЯЛИН. in small incuse letters. A Cyrillic circular legend reading НИКОЛАЙ I ИМПЕРАТОРЪ И САМОДЕРЖЕЦЪ ВСЕРОССІИС. runs along the inner border from lower left to lower right, terminating with a period. |
