Reverse description The reverse presents a whimsical cartoon figure of a gnome or dwarf dressed in a traditional Scottish Highland kilt and feathered cap, playing bagpipes with his left hand while holding a foaming beer stein in his right. To the right of the central figure appears a circular medallion bearing the inscription KIMBERLEY PIPE BAND with a thistle motif, accompanied by the numerals 50 and the word YEARS, commemorating the band's golden anniversary. The dates 1927-1977 are inscribed across the figure's torso. Pine cone devices flank the lower field, and the peripheral legend reads ROCKY MOUNTAIN DOLLAR along the upper arc and KIMBERLEY B.C. CANADA along the lower arc, all within a beaded border.
