Reverse description Central field displays Arabic inscription in Naskh script denoting the mint city of Arcot and the regnal year numeral ٦ (6), indicating the sixth year of issue in the Mughal tradition. Additional decorative elements and dot clusters are scattered across the field, consistent with Arcot rupee coinage of the period. The border is composed of a continuous ring of raised beads following the full circumference. The reverse retains the original Mughal Arcot mint format, unaltered by the British counterstamp applied to the obverse.
