Obverse description Central device features the tughra of King Abd al-Aziz ibn Saud in high relief, with the word Allah (الله) to the upper right. A curved Arabic legend below gives the king's name, titles, and the Hijri date 1348 in the lower field. The round disc is pierced with two holes at left and right, characteristic of a rifle or equipment tag.
