| Reverse description | A voided and floriated triple cross composed of three interlaced voided crosses, set within a cusped quadrilobe with trefoil terminals at each lobe. The letters F, L, A, and N are placed in the four angles between the arms of the quadrilobe, while a small central quadrilobe at the intersection contains the letter D, together forming the name FLAND(re). The entire design is executed in a refined Gothic style characteristic of mid-fourteenth-century Flemish coinage, enclosed within a beaded inner circle with the Latin legend in the outer border. |
