| Reverse description | Central field displaying the mint and date formula in Nastaliq script arranged in sweeping diagonal bands across the flan. The legend reads 'Zarb Dar al-Ibada Yazd' identifying the Yazd mint by its honorific title 'Abode of Worship', with the Hijri regnal year 1232 inscribed along the lower portion of the field. Small decorative dot clusters appear in the field, a common embellishment in Qajar provincial coinage. The overall strike is characteristic of hammered production at the Yazd mint, with slight flan irregularity at the edges. |
