Reverse description Crowned coat of arms of France, featuring a shield semy-de-lis (three fleurs-de-lis arranged two over one) surmounted by an ornate royal crown, centrally positioned in the field. The shield is flanked on either side by a curved lobe, forming the characteristic quartefoil-style frame associated with Warin's ecu designs. The circular Latin legend SIT * NOMEN * DOMINI * A * BENEDICTVМ * 1644 * runs clockwise around the periphery, separated by mullets, with the mint mark A (Paris) incorporated into the legend. A continuous beaded border frames the entire design.
