Obverse description Right-facing bust of King Louis XVI with powdered wig and court dress, set within an octagonal border with decorative inner frame. The circumferential legend reads LUDOAICUS XVI REX CHRISTIANISSIMUS, with the engraver's name GATTEAUX in the lower exergue. The spelling LUDOAICUS is a non-standard variant not conforming to the original jeton.

Reverse description Central allegorical scene depicting Hercules subduing a bull, restraining the animal and presenting its horn to a standing draped female figure (Hygieia, goddess of health) who reaches forward to receive it. Reed plants appear in the left background. The legend FIT ETIAM FORTIOR PRUDENT runs around the octagonal border, and the issuer name COMP.DASSUR.SOLIDAIRE DU HAVRE and date 1783 appear in the lower exergue. The engraver's signature is partially visible in the field.
