Obverse description Spade-shaped cast replica with a circular hole at the top and a raised central vertical rib dividing the field. Archaic Chinese seal script characters in raised relief are displayed on either side of the central rib, reading 一百 (one hundred) in the lower field. The piece is framed by a raised border following the outline of the spade form.

Reverse description Spade-shaped cast reverse with a circular hole at the top and a raised central vertical rib dividing the field. Archaic Chinese seal script characters in raised relief appear on either side of the rib, with 一百 (one hundred) rendered in the lower field. The surface is slightly smoother than the obverse with the same raised border framing.
