Reverse description A large crowned double-headed imperial eagle, with wings displayed, dominates the field; an imperial orb is affixed to the breast of the eagle, and the sceptre and sword are visible at the lower flanks. The mintmaster's initials C and P appear in the lower field to either side of the eagle's body. Below the eagle, at the base of the inner circle, the replication year 1976 and the fineness mark C·1000 are inscribed, serving as modern additions identifying this piece as a restrike. The circumferential Latin legend naming Emperor Leopold I runs along the outer border within a beaded frame, with the original date 1674 incorporated at the beginning of the legend.
