Obverse description Forward-facing draped bust of Sun Yat-sen occupying the central field, rendered in low relief with characteristic moustache. A circular legend in traditional Chinese characters arcs around the upper and lateral fields, reading 中華民國總理紀念幣六十年造, identifying this as a commemorative coin of the Republic of China in honor of the Director-General. The inner border is defined by a fine beaded circle, while the outer rim bears milled reeding.

Additional information

Sun Yat-sen memorial issues were produced across multiple series following his death in March 1925, as the Nationalist government sought to cement his image as the founding father of the Republic. This piece is a modern replica — the magnetic composition alone confirms it has no relationship to any authentic Republican-era minting, which used aluminum or copper-based alloys.
