Obverse description Bare-headed bust of King Oscar II facing left in high relief against a mirror-polished field, with the fineness mark '925S' incuse below the truncation. The legend 'DEN NORSKE KRONEMYNT' arcs around the upper periphery, flanked by two six-pointed star ornaments at either side of the lower field, and the dates '1875' and '2000' flank a crossed-hammers mintmark along the bottom.
