| Obverse description | Laureate head of Titus facing right, depicted with a short beard, rendered in high relief in the Flavian naturalistic style. The portrait shows the emperor with a strong, well-defined profile characteristic of early Flavian coinage. The circular Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially obscured by the irregular edge of this hammered silver flan. The field is lightly granular, consistent with silver quinarii of this period. |
