Reverse description Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology, depicted in vigorous right-facing gallop with wings fully spread and forelegs raised. The creature is rendered with considerable dynamism, its musculature and wing feathers shown in fine relief characteristic of late Republican die-cutting. Beneath the figure, the moneyer's abbreviated name appears in the lower field, with a horizontal line below dividing the legend from the exergual area. A beaded border frames the design along the right and lower periphery.
