Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Concordia facing right, her hair elaborately rendered in striated waves beneath the diadem, enclosed within a beaded border. The personification of Concord is depicted in the late Republican idiom, with finely modelled facial features. The legend III·VIR· – R·P·C (Tresviri Rei Publicae Constituendae) appears divided on either side of the bust, identifying the triumviral authority under which this issue was struck.

Reverse description Two right hands clasped in a dextrarum iunctio, symbolising the accord between Marcus Antonius and Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, with a caduceus — the staff of Mercury entwined with serpents — rising vertically between the joined hands, evoking peace and commerce. The composition is set within a beaded border. The encircling legend M·ANTON·C·CAESAR names the two triumvirs, affirming the political concordat commemorated by this issue.
