Reverse description The winged figure of Victoria advances to the right across the reverse field, rendered in flowing drapery with wings spread behind her. In her extended right hand she holds a wreath, and in her left hand she carries a long palm frond, both attributes being canonical symbols of military triumph in Roman iconography. The figure is depicted in a dynamic striding pose with head slightly turned, conveying movement and vitality characteristic of Hadrianic die work. The surrounding legend P M TR P COS III is distributed in the field around the central type. The exergue is plain, with no additional marks or mintmarks.
