Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in the restrained Flavian portrait style characteristic of his pre-accession coinage. The laureate wreath is clearly defined atop short, curly hair, with the facial features displaying a youthful profile. The encircling legend runs along the periphery within a beaded border. The flan is irregular, as typical of hammered quinarii of this period.

Reverse description The personification of Victory seated left upon a low throne or chair, rendered in flowing draped garments. In her extended right hand she holds a laurel wreath, and in her left hand a long palm branch resting against her shoulder, both emblems of martial triumph. The reverse legend encircles the field within a beaded border, and the composition reflects the standard Flavian Victory type employed on quinarii of this reign.
