Obverse description Youthful draped bust of Guidobaldo I da Montefeltro facing left, wearing a distinctive flat-brimmed hat characteristic of Italian Renaissance portraiture. The effigy is rendered in a bold, slightly crude hammered style typical of small Quattrocento coinage. A beaded inner border frames the design, with the abbreviated ducal legend distributed around the periphery of the field.
