Obverse description A spread-winged eagle in full flight occupies the lower central field, rendered in fine detail with outstretched talons and fanned tail feathers. Above the eagle, a crossed bow and arrow are depicted horizontally across the upper field, set against a background of concentric circular lines suggesting a wood-grain or target motif. The circular legend at top reads JAMUL SOVEREIGN NATION, and at the bottom NATIVE INDIAN NATIONS IN AMERICA, both in a stylized runic-influenced Latin script.
