| Obverse description | Draped bust of Pope Alexander VII facing right, wearing the papal camauro cap and richly ornamented cope decorated with floral and figural motifs, including a circular medallion at the shoulder. The portrait is rendered in a bold, high-relief Renaissance style with fine detailing to the vestments. A beaded inner border frames the effigy. The legend ALEXANDER VII PON MAX encircles the bust, reading partially to the left and partially to the right of the portrait. |
