(Translation: Imperator Titus Vespasianus Augustus Consul Octavum. Supreme commander (Imperator) Titus Vespasian, emperor (Augustus), consul for the eighth time.)
Reverse description The senatorial authorization mark S C (Senatus Consultum) inscribed in two lines within the field, enclosed by a laurel wreath tied at the base. The wreath is rendered with individual leaves characteristic of Flavian mint workmanship. The reverse field is otherwise plain, with the legend contained entirely within the wreath borders. The overall composition is austere, befitting the small denomination.
