Obverse description Laureate head of Tiberius facing left, rendered in low relief in the provincial hammered style. The emperor's portrait is surrounded by the circular Latin legend TI CAESAR AVGVSTVS disposed around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and slightly irregular in shape, consistent with locally produced provincial bronze coinage of the Julio-Claudian period.
