| Reverse description | Central field bearing the title and name of the Almoravid ruler in compressed Kufic Arabic script arranged across multiple lines: 'Amir al-Muslimin / Ali ibn Yusuf' (Commander of the Muslims / Ali son of Yusuf). The inscription occupies nearly the entire flan surface, with the letters densely packed in characteristic Almoravid style. The field is enclosed by a plain inner circle and an outer beaded border. No mint name or date appears on this type, consistent with the 'sans atelier, sans émir' designation. |
