Obverse description Central field bears the Arabic name 'Muhammad' inscribed in Kufic script, arranged in two or three lines filling the coin's face. The legend is bold and angular, characteristic of the early Islamic Sindhi hammered coinage tradition. The script is enclosed within a partial circular border. The overall design is stark and epigraphic, with no figurative elements, consistent with Islamic numismatic convention of this period.
