| Obverse description | Central field depicts a bird in profile facing right, rendered in a bold, archaic style characteristic of early Muscovite coinage. The bird, likely a falcon or eagle serving as the dynastic emblem of the Grand Principality of Moscow, is shown with wings partially raised and tail feathers visible. A circular border frames the central device, with a Cyrillic legend running along the periphery reading ПЕЧАТЬ ВЕЛИКОГО КНЯЗЯ (Seal of the Grand Prince). The overall design is crudely but forcefully struck on an irregularly shaped copper flan, consistent with hammered pulo coinage of the period. |
