Obverse description Multi-line Arabic legend occupying the entire field in the characteristic angular Kufic script style employed on Golden Horde copper coinage. The inscription, distributed across several registers within a plain circular border, reads the mint and denomination formula referencing Saray al-Jadida and the value in dangs. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, typical of hastily struck base-metal issues of the period, with the legend showing variable relief across the surface.
