Obverse description A feline figure, identified as a lion or similar beast, depicted in left-facing profile occupying the central field. Above the animal appears a solar symbol, attested in two known variants: a chamomile-style radiate sun and a seven-dot arrangement. The design is rendered in a bold, schematic style characteristic of Golden Horde copper coinage, with the figure executed in relatively high relief against a flat, unadorned field. The irregular flan edge, typical of hammered pul coinage, is visible around the periphery.

Reverse description The reverse bears a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged horizontally across the field, identifying the mint and regnal year. The legend reads 'Gulistan mint, year 764' (AH 764, corresponding to AD 1363), presented in the angular, somewhat roughly engraved Naskh-influenced style typical of Golden Horde copper issues. The inscription fills the flan without a formal border, consistent with the utilitarian character of low-denomination pul coinage. Surface patination reveals green and brown copper oxidation, with the lettering remaining partially legible despite typical wear.
