Obverse description Central field dominated by a stylized zoomorphic or vegetal motif rendered in bold low relief, displaying flowing curvilinear forms with scrolling terminals characteristic of Mongol decorative art. The design, likely a composite animal or dragon-like figure, fills the flan in a dynamic swirling composition. The irregular flan shows typical characteristics of hammered copper coinage, with a naturalpatina of dark brown and green oxidation. The die work is bold but somewhat roughly executed, consistent with provincial Golden Horde mint production.
Obverse script Arabic
Obverse lettering السلطان العادل عبد الله خان
