Obverse description Central field displays three fleurs-de-lis arranged within a lozenge (rhombus) frame, a heraldic device associated with the city of Lérida (Lleida). The design is rendered in a crude, low-relief style typical of hammered copper coinage of the period. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central device, reading PVGESA DE LEIDA. The flan is irregular and somewhat misshapen, consistent with hand-struck municipal coinage of late medieval Catalonia.
