Obverse description Crowned and draped bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing a ruffled collar and royal mantle, rendered in high relief with fine portrait detail characteristic of early 17th-century Polish medallic art. The king's crown is ornately depicted with fleurons and arches. A Latin legend commences at the lower left and encircles the effigy within a beaded border. The denomination numeral '10' appears in the field to the right of the bust, with the mint master's initials below.
