Reverse description Elaborate quartered royal arms of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth surmounted by a closed royal crown, displayed on an ornate cartouche with decorative mantling and scrollwork. The shield bears the heraldic devices of the constituent territories of the Commonwealth and the dynastic arms of the Vasa family. A beaded inner border surrounds the central device, with the continuation of the royal titulature legend in Latin disposed around the periphery: * MAG * DVX * LIT * RVS * PRVS * MAS * SAM * LIVO, abbreviating the titles of Grand Duke of Lithuania, Ruthenia, Prussia, Masovia, Samogitia, and Livonia.
