| Obverse description | The obverse features the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed at center, with both heads crowned and turned outward, surmounted by a single larger crown above. The eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left talon, rendered in a bold, somewhat archaic style characteristic of early Petrine copper coinage. The field is plain and the entire design is enclosed within a rope or twisted-cord border running along the coin's periphery. No legend appears on this face. |
