Obverse description Central field bears the elaborate interlaced Cyrillic monogram of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna (EP), surmounted by an Imperial crown with cross finial. The monogram is encircled by a wreath composed of laurel on the left and palm on the right, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The date 1757 is inscribed within the monogram flanking its lower element. The coin's rim is decorated with a fine beaded border.
