Obverse description Central device features the Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed, with both heads crowned and surmounted by a single larger crown above. The eagle's wings are spread and detailed with feathering; the right talon holds a sceptre and the left a globus cruciger. The breast is unshielded, presenting a plain dotted body. The field is smooth and unlettered, with a finely reeded border encircling the design.

Reverse description The reverse bears the denomination legend ПОЛПОЛТИНЫ arranged in two lines across the central field, with the date 1726 below in large numerals. The mint mark С·П·Б· (St. Petersburg Mint) appears in the lower exergue. Above the legend, a decorative triangular arrangement of raised pellets or bosses fills the upper portion of the field, a distinctive design element characteristic of early Petrine-era coinage. The entire device is enclosed within a finely reeded rim.
