| Obverse description | Draped and crowned bust of Empress Elizabeth I facing right, wearing imperial regalia including a pearl-trimmed crown and jeweled bodice. The effigy is rendered in a baroque portrait style with fine hair detail. A circular Cyrillic legend surrounds the bust along the rim, abbreviated to read 'By the Grace of God, Elizabeth I, Empress and Autocrat of All Russia.'
