| Obverse description | Crowned and draped bust of Empress Anna Ioannovna facing right, wearing an imperial crown adorned with pearls and surmounted by a cross, her hair dressed in period fashion with a veil falling behind. The empress is depicted in elaborate court dress with visible decorative elements at the shoulder.
