Reverse description Large, elaborately quartered royal coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth surmounted by a royal crown, displaying the heraldic charges of Poland (white eagle), Lithuania (mounted knight), Sweden (three crowns and lion), and the Vasa dynastic shield at the centre. The escutcheon is flanked by the mint master's initials and the date numerals within the field. A beaded inner border separates the arms from the circumferential Latin legend SAM LIV NEC NON SV GOT VA Q HRI REX, enumerating the king's additional titles as ruler of Samogitia, Livonia, and the Goths.
