Reverse description Large crowned quartered royal coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth occupying the central field, displaying the Polish Eagle in the first and fourth quarters, the Lithuanian Pursuer (Pahonia) and Swedish Three Crowns in the second quarter, and the Vasa dynastic arms (a sheaf) on an escutcheon at centre. The elaborate shield is surmounted by a large arched royal crown with cross finial. The circumferential Latin legend, distributed within a beaded border, reads MAG DVX LIT RVS PRVS MAS SAM ZEM LIV SMOL SEV CZER, enumerating the king's territorial titles as Grand Duke of Lithuania, Russia, Prussia, Masovia, Samogitia, Livonia, Smolensk, Severia, and Chernigov.
