Reverse description The coat of arms of Dunkirk is displayed centrally within a raised rectangular panel framed by a simulated stone wall border. The armorial shield, supported by a crowned armoured knight holding a sword, is encircled by a continuous ribbon legend. Below the shield hang four military decorations. A recipient's name plaque at the bottom of the reverse reads 'Mr PARAF Maurice / 1-10-1982'. The engraver's signature 'R.B. BARON' appears at lower right of the inner panel.
