| Obverse description | In the upper field, a standing figure of Bismarck in high relief with arms raised, holding a sword in his right hand, with the date 1914 to the left. In the central field, a large crowned imperial eagle with displayed wings stands over a fasces flanked by laurel and oak branches and military trophies. A four-line inscription tablet in the lower field bears the dedication legend, with the maker's initials M.u.W. at lower left and ST. at lower right. |
