The Republic seated just in front of a tree, leaning on a shield bearing the inscription `TIR / GYMNASTI` supervising people performing military exercises. Behind her, the boy standing on the left, holding the sword, in front of a basket and mortar. In exergue, a legend between two fasces, one entwined with a laurel branch, the other with an oak branch.
