Obverse description Four large Nō theater masks rendered in high relief, overlapping across the field: a serene female mask (Ko-omote type) dominates the center, flanked by an expressive demon or character mask to the left and a bearded elder mask to the lower right, with a fourth mask partially visible. Japanese characters and swirling decorative elements fill the background. The engraver's monogram appears in the lower center field.

Reverse description A Nō theater performance scene in high relief depicting a principal actor in elaborate kimono holding a fan in the foreground right, with a group of musicians and chorus figures in the background left, one playing a kotsuzumi shoulder drum. A pine tree rendered in low relief fills the upper right field. The engraver's signature 'Ph. Roch' appears in the lower left field.
