Obverse description Armored and crowned bust of Sigismund III Vasa facing right, wearing an elaborate ruff collar and royal armor decorated with ornamental detail; the king holds a scepter over his right shoulder and an orb in his left hand. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the Renaissance style, with fine detailing on the crown and regalia. A beaded inner border frames the central design. The surrounding Latin legend reads SIGIS III D G REX POLO M D LIT RVSS PRVS MAS, distributed around the full circumference of the coin.
