Obverse description Frontal bust of a bishop rendered in high relief, depicted with two croziers held diagonally on either side of the figure, in the hieratic style typical of 13th-century Friesacher Pfennige. The bishop's mitre and vestments are schematically rendered. The central design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, beyond which a decorative ring of alternating crosses and stars frames the entire composition.
