Obverse description Facing bust of an abbess depicted in high relief within a plain inner circle, her head shown frontally with a mitre or veil flanked by two lateral pendants or lappets falling to either side. The facial features are rendered in a bold, stylised Romanesque manner with large circular eyes and a prominent nose.
