Obverse description Two confronted capricorn protomes (foreparts of goats with fish tails) facing one another across a central vertical dividing element, with pellet or annulet details visible in the field. The design is rendered in low relief in the typical crude but expressive style of medieval Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs. No legend or inscription is present. The flan is irregular, consistent with hand-cut hammered coinage of the early fourteenth century.
